River Capital Sells Décor Gravure Corporation, Inc. to the Cortec Group

River Capital, an Atlanta-based private investment firm, has sold its interest in Décor Gravure Corporation, Inc. (“Décor Gravure”), to the Cortec Group. The purchase price was not disclosed.

Décor Gravure, headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, designs, manufactures and distributes decorative interior vinyl paneling for use in the manufactured housing and recreational vehicle industries. The Company is a leading supplier to these industries with a substantial share of the total vinyl paneling market. In 1993, the Company acquired Plywood Panels, Inc., based in Tualatin, Oregon. Following the acquisition, Décor Gravure maintained operations in Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, North Carolina, Oregon and Texas.

River Capital is one of the oldest firms of its type in the Southeast and has acquired companies in a broad range of industries with combined annual revenues in excess of $600 million. River Capital primarily invests in light manufacturing, distribution and select service companies with purchase prices of $10 million to $50 million. For add-on acquisition candidates, the firm will consider companies with a purchase price less than $10 million.
